Through Social Media, Teens Learn From Others’ Stories and Stand Up for Their Beliefs
My Teen Life, our recent study of nearly 5,200 teens in 32 countries, revealed that through social media, teens experience the power of hearing others’ voices – and of using their own. They believe everyone has a story, everyone has a right to tell their story, and that everyone can learn from others’ stories. They’re seeing the world through other people’s eyes and speaking out about what’s important to them. In fact, 9 out of 10 teens believe everyone should have the right to stand up for their beliefs.
In the Snapchat stories below, check out what Julieta from Argentina and Ketsia from France told us about how they’re using their voices.
