The way we consume television is constantly changing, and there’s a dizzying amount of stats and figures on how we view TV. But what does TV mean to viewers across the globe? We set out to cut through the static.

To accomplish this, we surveyed 10,000 people in 10 countries. We got up close and personal to capture real life viewing habits in several homes, using in-depth interviews and Go-Pro cameras.

The stories we found for our Today’s TV project shed light on how and why global audiences watch TV. Check out this video to find out what our respondents told us about the role that TV plays in their lives.
